Vertical Reciprocating Conveyors move materials in factories, warehouse, industrial plants, institution or anywhere that products or supplies need to move from one level to another. VRC’s are not elevators. In fact, they have their own national code (ASME B20.1) and are specifically exempt from the national elevator code.
VRC’s provide fast, efficient, convenient and safe access to? from mezzanines, balconies, basements, and between levels in multiple story buildings. They can be installed for through-floor, interior or exterior application. The principal components of VRC’s include guide columns, main MS pre-fabricated tubular structure, a carriage and electro-mechanical either chain or rope drum driven or hydraulic actuating mechanism.

Safe, efficient, convenient means of moving materials from on laves to another.
Can be installed in new existing building.
Customized to your application needs.
Less costly to install, operate and maintain.
Safe than using a forklift to move materials between levels
Move loads of all shapes, sizes and designated weights.
Designed for mezzanines, through-floor and other multi-level applications.
Can be install in unused elevator shafts.
Hydrail, mechanical and fully automated systems.
Equipped with advanced safety features to protect workers and materials.
Carriage: The carriage will have a steel deck plate with perforated sheet panel at its non-operationg ends and manually operated cross bar at its operating ends.
Raising & lowering of the carriage shall be provided either by chain drive / or by rope drive arrangement connected to an efficient gear reducer and motor assembly
Separate electrical controls are provided at all levels.
Upward travel of the carriage will begin by depressing a control button, which activates the reducer and releases the brake Chain/rope rotating the carriage. Travel is limited by floor level limit switch. Hen the switch is tripped, the reducer shuts off and the brake engages.
Access for loading and un-loading of material done through collapsible type doors, which are electro mechanically inter-locked with carriage movement. The interlock will prevent carriage movement if any gate is not fully closed.
